last week, it was peddled around social media that American singer Taylor Swift was on her way to making Grammy history with a fourth Album of the Year win. Well, things have passed the real of speculation at this point. she actually won at the 66th Grammy Awards.
In other words, she has indeed made history with her latest winning, snagging four Grammys in the Album of the Year category. With her fourth win, she becomes the only artist so far to have won that category four times.
It was a moment some of her fans would say they saw coming and some would call it a surprise because other equally talented artists were nominated for the same award, including Beyonce.
In fact, the snubbing of Beyonce in the Album of the Year category miffed her husband Jay-Z, who addressed the snub, pointing out that his wife has had the most Grammy Awards of any musician but strangely never gets to win in the Album of the Year category.
