It was to have been a wonderful moment as she performed before the audience. But that never happened, as someone in the audience threw a phone at her, injuring her in the face. She had to be rushed from the stage to safety.
Taking to her verified Instagram page, where she had over 10 million fans, she had shared a picture of her injured face. In the caption to the post, she noted that she is good. Yeah, the songstress is alive, but not without injury.
The comment section throbbed with fans wishing her a quick recovery from her injuries, with some wondering out loud why anyone would want to hurt the singer. But the incident has already happened and lessons learned.
She wouldn’t be the first performer to be assaulted that way, though. Now and then, such incidents are reported around the world. But injuries don’t follow every one of those reports.
