Mention Eddie Murphy and what comes to mind for most people is the classic “Coming to America” in which he played Prince Akeem. The years may have passed and it is no longer Akeem’s era. but Eddie has still got his charms and appeal.
That’s why, in part at least, he is still out there and in demand to treat fans to the best of him. His recent film adventure would see him play the role of Axel Foley in n “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F.” The original debuted exactly four decades ago, in 1984.
What’s changed since then? We doubt that’s of much interest to many people besides the fact that Eddie Murphy will be a part of the latest instalment of that action comedy.
In the film, one sees a jocund side to Foley, a Detroit detective who topped into Beverly Hills because he found out his estranged daughter was in danger there. he reconnected with her, as well as helped to resolve a case.
For those who only know Eddie Murphy from the spectacular success of “Coming to America,” his latest feature “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F,” provides a whole new view of the man and his acting. But it is well worth it. See the trailer below.
