SA Hip Hop star Cassper Nyovest returns to preaching about adultery.
Fans appreciate an honest celeb. Cassper Nyovest has been on the good side of his fans since he began opening up about his shortcomings and advising his fans on the best way to go. The star has been preaching sermons on social media, and telling fans about things he has learnt on his journey.
He recently spoke to a church congregation about how God changed his life at the Christian Family Church in Johannesburg. He opened up about being delivered from an addiction to adultery. Cass said he overcame his sex addiction (which cost him his past relationship with Thobeka Majozi) with the help of God. He said,
“One day, I woke up after a crazy party. I was on my way to the bathroom, and I heard a voice, and this voice said: ‘Who are you? Where do you come from, and where are you going?’. The voice asked my soul….That voice as God.”
He said that at the time, he was diagnosed with depression and confused about his identity.
“This is someone who slept with so many women because this was what I was chasing at the time. The lies I told, like ‘I love you’. After the act, I felt nothing. It didn’t give me the satisfaction I wanted.”
He also practiced celibacy with his wife Pulane, who was his girlfriend at the time. Cassper wrote,
“God delivered me from the addiction to adultery and the sexual immorality.”
