Amid the pains of losing her father at a very young age, Kairo Owethu Forbes is making big moves that would make her daddy, AKA, proud wherever he might be – assuming the dead can still see the living. Little Kairo has just secured a partnership for a commercial with Nedbank.
Nedbank is one of the big banks in South Africa, so the partnership means a lot not just to the kid but to her grandparents and her surviving parent, mum DJ Zinhle, as well.
Nedbank has developed a new online multiplayer game. Participants can play, earn and learn. Called Chow Town, the game is said to be the first Roblox game in South Africa. And there is currently great excitement surrounding it.
It was never revealed why Kairo Forbes was picked, but her parents being celebrities is certainly a good point. Another could be the great attention on Kairo following her father’s assassination on February 10.
AKA had just stepped out of Wish Restaurant on Florida Road in Durban when an assassin crept close and shot him at point-blank range. Also killed was his former manager Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
