City Girls’ Split Verified By Yung Miami

The American rap duo, City Girls have broken up, at least for the time being, according to Yung Miami, who recently broke her silence on the matter.

The City Girls’ most recent album, RAW, was released in October of last year. It peaked at No. 117 on the Billboard 200 album chart and generated very little buzz. Subsequently, JT and Yung Miami have each released solo records that have become considerably more successful, and they recently got into a public argument that gave rise to breakup rumors.

In fact, the girls have broken up the group because of their hectic, independent schedules, according to a recent Yung Miami interview with Complex.

Even though it’s unfortunate that the City Girls are taking a break, a reunion could happen in the future. With her solo single “50/50 Freestyle,” which is gaining popularity as summer approaches, Yung Miami has captured the attention of fans, and JT made waves of her own with her breakthrough hit “Okay.”

The boisterous pair, known as City Girls, first dropped their mixtape “Period” in 2018. They released their first album, “Girl Code,” in the same year, and “City on Lock” in 2020.” Regardless of all the drama that has gone down between both femcees, it appears the pair still have love for each other.
