DJ Akademiks Says Meek Mill Is To Blame For Drake’s Loss Against Kendrick Lamar

DJ Akademiks has been closely involved in the ongoing feud between Drake and Kendrick Lamar, having access to exclusive information from the OVO camp and even premiering the official version of “Push Ups” on his live stream. He was among the first to listen to “Family Matters” upon its release. However, Kendrick Lamar’s recent chart-topping success with “Not Like Us” and “Euphoria,” as well as the impactful “Meet The Grahams,” have led to a shift in the dynamics of the feud.

During a recent appearance on the Full Send Podcast, Akademiks offered his perspective on the feud and identified Meek Mill as a critical factor in its developments. He believes that Drake’s overconfidence can be traced back to Meek Mill’s mishandling of their beef. According to Akademiks, Drake’s triumph over Meek, initially seen as the underdog, may have contributed to an inflated sense of confidence, which has now presented challenges in the ongoing feud.

This is essentially the main point that Akademiks puts forward. Additionally, he suggests that if Meek Mill had responded to the ghostwriter’s accusations through a diss track, he could have come out on top in the dispute. Instead, he hastily turned to Twitter and ended up losing. In the video, Akademiks also criticizes Meek’s intelligence multiple times. It’s unsurprising that Akademiks, who strongly dislikes Meek, would make such remarks.
