Radio presenter and businessman DJ Sbu opens up about the bold and daring decisions he made to achieve success in the industry.
DJ Sbu has come a long way as one of the few hitmakers who have been in the entertainment industry for two decades. His success has often been hailed and also criticized by many. However, he recently opened up about his career and shared the need he had to make bold steps to achieve success.
In a chat with TshisaLIVE, Sbu revealed he is very proud of how far he has come and also shared how things fell into place for him. He said,
“I am so proud of the decisions a younger me took for me to be where I am today. Everything manifesting in my life is so incredible.”
According to him, he has no regrets about his past. He did not regret how things happened at the SABC, but only chose to see the good side. He spoke about not giving up even when people said no to him.
“I’m glad that I went for my dreams. I’m glad when I was told I wasn’t good enough, I wasn’t fluent enough in English, my voice wasn’t good enough, I’m glad I wanted to figure it out on my own and find out how you become successful.”
