Don Toliver Previews New Song With A Snoop Dogg Sample

One of the most distinctive and instantly recognizable voices in hip-hop is Don Toliver. He can work efficiently with a wide range of artists thanks to his unique sound, which makes him stand out in hip-hop. Metro Boomin has made a notable comparison between Toliver and Nate Dogg, highlighting the latter’s capacity to harmonize with various musical genres and performers, just as the former did with Dr. Dre. During a live performance, Toliver recently teased a new song with a sample of an old Snoop Dogg song. Fans anticipating this remastered Snoop Dogg record’s official release are thrilled about it.

The audience became animated when Toliver began playing “Attitude.”  Snoop Dogg and Pharrell’s hit song “Beautiful” was played by the DJ. Toliver’s version started the same way, with vocals, but then changed to glitchy trap drums. The effect was mesmerizing. Don Toliver let the beat shine without even singing at first. “Attitude” is produced by Cash Cobain and features backing vocals from Charlie Wilson. It is uncertain whether Uncle Wilson contributed new vocals to the song or if he’s credited because he appeared on the original Snoop Dogg song. Nevertheless, a live snippet of the song has gone viral on social media, with some asserting that Don Toliver has a potential “song of the summer” on his hands.

It’s interesting to note that “Beautiful” has been reimagined by several artists in recent years. While Jack Harlow’s track “Side Piece” drew heavily from the 1998 hit, some fans felt it didn’t bring a fresh perspective, unlike Cash Cobain’s “Attitude,” which seemed more innovative. Don Toliver has been hinting at the release of his upcoming album since March, and it’s anticipated that “Attitude” will be part of it.
