Drama As Lesufi’s Employee Applies For Protection Order Against MEC

The political universe, like the entertainment industry, makes room for a lot of drama and intrigue. Ask those who are actually paying attention to these worlds and they will give you that answer.

Well, we may have gotten another glimpse into this reality from none other than an employee from Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi’s office.

Multiple reports point to an employee from the premier’s office having applied for a protection order against MEC Faith Mazibuko. The application, according to reports, followed an altercation in March.

Two months later, in May, the application for a protection order was made in a family court in Johannesburg.

For some reason, which isn’t hard to explain, the premier’s name is what has made the news the most regarding the whole drama, despite there being no evidence he is directly involved in it.

Also, at the time of writing, he had yet to publicly address the situation. Whether he would end up addressing it is unclear, but South Africans are certainly following the situation.

By the way, this isn’t the first time the premier has found himself in a bit of drama, either directly or as a result of those working under him. And it is doubtful it will be the last time.
