Scoring a nomination is the very first step to winning an award. So, with a nomination, one is closer to winning than without a nomination. So it is a pleasure for those who get nominated for one award or the other.
South African musician Faith K should know. For one, she recently got nominated for the Basadi in Music Awards.
The nomination meant so much to her and she had no qualms revealing the same in a post on her official Instagram page.
The songstress had taken to Instagram where she shared slides indicating her nomination for the awards, as well as revealing those she was nominated along with.
From her post, it could be seen that she was nominated as the Hip-hop Artist of the Year alongside Fifi Cooper, Dope Saint Jude, Nadia Nakai and Dyna Steez.
In the caption to her post, she indicated that she is thrilled by the nomination. Beyond that, she also thanked her fans and others who made sure she was nominated for the award. You can check out the post below.
Of course, a win would be wonderful for her, but it is unclear who will end up winning in the category in which she is nominated.
