In terms of television, Succession took up the Best Television Series Drama prize to cap off the event. The show’s Tom Wambsgans, played by Matthew Macfadyen, took home the Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role on Television award. With wins for Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Television Series—Musical or Comedy, Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series—Musical or Comedy, and Best Television Series—Musical or Comedy, The Bear dominated the comedy category at the television awards. Poor Things received Best Motion Picture—Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture—Musical or Comedy.
