People are in authority for a reason, to effect charges in society in such a way as to benefit society. This way, everyone stays hapy and societies advance in multiple realms.
Well, the MEC for Economic Development, Tourism, and Environmental Affairs, Reverend Musa Zondi can relate. he is in a position of trust and owes a lot to the people by virtue of being in that position.
It turns out that he know what’s expected of him after all, as evident by his recent announcement. He’s just announced new entities and leadership in Durban while explaining that it is a strategic move to streamline operations, as well as enhance service delivery across the province.
As part of the initiative, four public entities have been merged into two new entities.
In his words: “This move is expected to improve the delivery of services in a cost-effective manner and foster economic growth within the province.” In this mive, he has got the support of many across South Africa, some of whom took to social media to highlight the positives of it.
If nothing else, it indicates that the people are in accord with Musa Zondi’s decision. It is unclear what the long-term impact will be but South Africans are certainly watching.
