Del Rey expressed her admiration for Antonoff, calling him “one in a million,” and was thrilled about their upcoming collaboration. The release date of ‘Lasso’ is still under wraps, but she confirmed that it will be out in September this year. This will be her 10th studio album, following her highly acclaimed ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’, which received five Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album.

One of the tracks, “Candy Necklace,” featuring Jon Batiste, has already been nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. Moreover, ‘A&W’ is also in the running for Song of the Year and Best Alternative Music Performance. Lana Del Rey is all set to take the music world by storm with her new album, and fans eagerly await its release.

As reported by Rolling Stone, she had once announced to a crowd,

“If you can’t already tell by our award winners and our performers, the music business is going country,”

“We’re going country. It’s happening. That’s why Jack has followed me to Muscle Shoals, Nashville, Mississippi, over the last four years.”

The singer is no stranger to country music, even though “Lasso” is her first formal release. She even sang Elvis Presley’s 1977 hit “Unchained Melody” at NBC’s Christmas at Graceland the previous month, and she even shared a rendition of the John Denver classic “Take Me Home, Country Roads” last December, showcasing her talent in country music. In addition, she sang a breathtaking version of Tammy Wynette’s 1969 song “Stand By Your Man” in September.

Fans have even been given a sneak peek at her new country song, “Henry, Come On,” via social media teases. Moreover, the vocalist will play lead roles at several summertime festivals, including Coachella alongside Tyler, The Creator, and Doja Cat; Reading & Leeds alongside Liam Gallagher and Blink-182; Primavera Sound alongside The National, Pulp, and SZA; and Hangout Festival alongside ODESZA and Zach Bryan.
