After multiple attempts to save his marriage, all of which failed miserably, South African music executive NOTA Baloyi has finally made peace with the reality that he is now a formally divorced man with Berita as his ex-wife.
While it might appear that he is pained that his relationship is over, he seemed to have found consolation in the knowledge that she didn’t take much from him in exiting the marriage.
In his own words, “The lesson is to make sure she leaves with nothing of yours.” Well, he appeared to have applied that in his own life.
The two used to have a wonderful relationship but things went south between them about two years ago, with Berita, an afrosoul singer, claiming that NOTA has mental health issues and does not listen to anyone.
Beyond that, she also pointed out that he acts as he believes, neither respecting those in his family nor hers. At some point, she decided she had had enough, leading to their separation.
For a while, things remained that way – with the couple separated and occasionally taking jabs at each other. Just recently, though, they were reportedly officially divorced, with NOTA addressing the whole drama with his note about her not going with anything of his.
