Megan Thee Stallion’s Big Reveal About Her Mother

There is a common saying out there which goes thus: “The fruit does not fall far from the tree,” which is taken to mean that people would usually take some features or talents from their parents. Many examples point to this being true.

Previously, some people have taken Blue Ivy as an example, pointing out how she’s inherited her parents’ talents and displays the same on stage while performing.

But this is not about Blue Ivy. It is Megan Thee Stallion’s story. The controversial rapper and video vixen recently spilt the tea on her talent and music journey, pointing out that her mother  Holly Thomas is the source of her rap talents.

Of course, some people may not know her mother as a musician or singer of note. But Megan saying this about her automatically ignited interest in what her life must have been like long before her daughter Megan became famous as a rapper.

Megan recalled how she engaged in rap battles with her mother, whom she wanted to impress and just be better at the rap thing.

In her words,  “Me and my mama used to be going back and forth. She was really the one, and I just wanted to beat her, and I wanted to impress her and I thought she was just the coldest rapper ever.” Well, she did learn a lot from her mother and she is now a big-name rapper in her own right.
