It has been said that death is inevitable, which is actually true, for where there is life, there will one day be death. So, the time and circumstances of a person’s death usually mean a lot.
When a person dies at a great old age after accomplishing a lot, there is usually celebration and not tears of sorrow. On the contrary, the ground is usually we with mourning and disconslation when someone dies young, much of their dreams unaccomplished.
That is the sad story of Sindi. Okay, hold on, this is actually not real life, but a projection of reality (you might also say a screenwriter’s imagination) in the series “Smokes and Mirror.”
The series is pretty popular in South Africa, which was obvious from the reactions to the news of Sindi’s death. Some viewers are incredulous and just sad about the news of her death.
