Mörda moved to social media to celebrate his new plaques for ‘Summer Love’ and ‘Mohigan Sun’ from his 2022 album, ‘Asante’. ‘Summer Love’ with Nkosazana Daughter went gold, while ‘Mohigan Sun’ featuring Oscar Mbo and Murumba Pitch went double platinum.
This follows the DJ and producer’s recent release of a brand-new EP with five tracks called “Cr4zy!!..” Brenden Praise, Lusanda, Mpho.Wav, and Kwamzy are featured on the LP. It comes after the publication of his 12-track Asante II second album in September of last year.
Mörda’s distinct sound, which he has meticulously selected from ordinary moments that capture his interest, has been tried out in live performances and has always elicited strong emotions from the crowd. Mörda has a sharp eye for the unusual in the commonplace, which is the source of inspiration for Cr4zy!!.. Mörda hinted to something special coming ahead, even though the specifics of his next tour are still being kept under wraps.
Before going solo, Mörda had his big break as a member of the critically acclaimed drum-driven house combo Black Motion. He performed all across the world before releasing his first solo album, Asante, in 2022. The album, which is devoted to his daughter, has ten catchy tracks with an amazing roster of artists, including Focalistic, Nkosazana Daughter, Oscar Mbo, Yallunder, and more.
