Everyone is talking about the news that the iconic Janet Jackson and Jill Scott are coming to SA. The two are billed to headline the star-studded DStv Delicious Festival. One thing about the festival is that it always delivers amazing entertainment to its attendees.
But this time, Mzansi is concerned about the ticket prices. We aren’t sure if anyone wants to pay a whopping sum just to see Janet Jackson and Jill Scott with the crazy cost of living in the country. According to The South African, people are undecided due to the cost of the annual music and food event, which takes place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit on 21 and 22 September 2024.
Also, the festival, which is in its eleventh year is looking to celebrate the 30th anniversary of South Africa’s democracy. According to reports, the iconic Janet Jackson will take the stage on Saturday, 21 September, while soul singer will take over the next day.
The line-up also includes famous local acts including Thandiswa Mazwai, Cassper Nyovest, Sjava, Robot Boii, Yvonne Chaka Chaka, Jesse Clegg, Zolani Mahola, Sipho “Hotstix” Mabuse and more.
TicketMaster reveals that the tickets are priced at; General admission: R1050, Delicious Lounge: R3250, and Injabulo Luxury Suite: R8350. The South African reports that general admission was R650 and R950 in 2022 and 2023. Early bird registration and DStv Rewards members also awarded their patrons a significant discount.
