It seems jailed rapper Brickz has truly been redeemed. The embattled rapper is reported to have joined a prison choir to perform at the Grace Point church in Fourways. A video of their performance which happened on Youth Day was shared on social media and it went viral.

According to a report by Briefly News, the rap star and The Worship Sounds of Leeuwkop Correctional Centre Choir delivered a laudable rendition of a classic South African Gospel song. The video was reshared by MDN News.

Mzansi has since shared several reactions to the video. Some believe he is doing this to get an early release from his 15-year sentence at the Leeuwkop Maximum Facility, while others think he has truly changed.

Reacting, iamnel asked, “So, is he a changed man now?”

@kaMalambule wrote, “I mean, who can judge you after you have accepted Jesus into your life. Only His Father will judge him.”

@novah153 replied, “He has served his time and paid his dues. He will get his 2nd chance because he won’t be punished forever. I hope he has learnt his lesson and is rehabilitated!”
