The trio was recently honoured with a Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards nomination in the Favourite Kidfluencer category, and they couldn’t be happier.
The group, which comprises the siblings Biko Nhlangothi,17, Manna, 14 and Mfundo, 9, is originally from Johannesburg. Right now, however, they can no longer be called a Johannesburg group as their appeal transcends the Rainbow Nation.
Yes, the group is not an entertainment powerhouse, with fans across the world and not in South Africa alone.
The kids’ musical odyssey and accomplishments shouldn’t surprise anyone who has been paying attention at all. For one, their story amplifies the statement that fruit does not fall far from the tree, which is to say that children often take after their parents in many respects.
That’s the reality of Biko’s Manna actually, being the children of singer and actress Ayanda Nhlangothi and Sebone Rangata. Interstingly, they regularly perform alongside their parents to the delight of their fans across the Rainbow Nation.
