Reality star Papa Penny is said to have allegedly joined the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) as a member of the uMkhonto we Sizwe Party after ditching the African National Congress.
Reality star and media personality Papa Penny made quite a buzz during campaign season when he announced that he had ditched the ANC and joined Zuma’s MK party. He was also seen campaigning for the party. According to a report by Briefly News, Papa Penny is now a member of the National Council of Provinces (NCOP).
The publication writes that he took to his private Instagram account and shared a picture of himself showing his badge as a member of parliament. The news of Papa Penny joining NCOP was shared on X by the page @RebelNews_ with the caption:
“Penny Penny is going to Parliament as MP for NCOP.”
While some Netizens did not see what change he would be able to foster, others were simply happy for him.
