It is often said that life is unpredictable, which is true, as we see again and again. One minute, someone is all smiles and having the time of their lives, and another minute they are cold and dead. Morbid.
But that’s life for you. This played out recently at the King Shaka International Airport in South Africa, where a lady collapsed and died.
Paramedics hurried to the scene but were unable to save the female passenger, who was declared dead on the spot. The name of the passenger has not been given yet, nor has the cause of death been revealed at the time of writing.
This isn’t the first time a passenger has died at an airport, however. It happens sporadically around the world, with investigations launched soon after to determine the cause of death.
The police are currently looking into the case. Also, the Airport Company South Africa has acknowledged the incident while also extending its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
