Post Malone Earns His Second No. 1 Single Of The Year With “I Had Some Help,” Featuring Morgan Wallen

Post Malone is having such a successful run right now.

The American rapper and singer’s duet “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen debuts at the top of the most recent Billboard Hot 100 chart, earning him his second No. 1 single of the year. With Taylor Swift’s smash hit “Fortnight,” which is taken from her Billboard 200-charting album “The Tortured Poets Department,” Malone last debuted at No. 1 in April.

This week, at No. 8, the song is still in the Top 10 of the singles chart. For the past month, Wallen and Malone had been teasing a collaborative track. During Wallen’s headline performance at the Stagecoach festival, they debuted the country pop hit “I Had Some Help” in a duet. According to data firm Luminate, it dethrones “Fortnight” as the song with the most single-week streams this year with its opening 76.4 million streams.

“I Had Some Help” is the second country song to reach the top of the Hot 100 this year, after Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em.” The previous week’s top song, Kendrick Lamar’s Drake diss track “Not Like Us,” falls to No. 2, and Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby” rises to No. 3. The latter was the newcomer’s first solo Billboard chart performance, and it remained at No. 2 for two weeks in a row.
