Lamborgini is an expensive Italian brand and not something you find on the streets every other day. So, when one of them is spotted on the road, it is bound to attract attention.
That was exactly what happened at Oceans Mall recently when an R10m Lamborghini Aventador Roadster was spotted. The car caused quite a buzz on Mzansi’s social media after it was posted online.
It remained unclear who owned the vehicle that was spotted at the mall in Umhlanga, ZwaZulu-Natal. But the fact that the car was out there was enough for some people – enough pointed that there are still people with crazy money living.
The city boosts several wealthy individuals, including Vivian Reddy, co-developer of Oceans Mall, as well as Shauwn Mkhize, the owner of Royal AM football club.
If nothing else, the picture of the Lambo showed that while some South Africans complain about load shedding and more, there are those who are probably not concerned about the same because they are rich enough to afford alternatives – exemplified by the ability to splurge on one of the most expensive cars in the world.
