Sam Deep and Azana’s acclaimed track, “BoGogo,” now has an official music video.
“BoGogo” can be found on their collaborative EP “KwaKhanya,” which was released a month ago. The images are full of dancing and narrative. Dressed in traditional clothing, the lone contributors express themselves via deep cultural significance Zulu rhythmic dances, embracing the richness of African culture through the mesmerizing visuals.
DJ producer Sam Deep and vocalist Azana are getting ready to blow up stages and radio waves with their newest collaboration, KwaKhanya, which translates to “enlightenment.” Under this project, Samukelo Mavuso and Makhosazana Masango have published six songs. At the project’s recent listening session, Azana made her way to the stage and scanned the crowd before beginning her performance, leaving Sam to work his magic behind the decks.
Before she knew it, the entire crowd was dancing to “Bogo,” which feels like a potential hit song from the EP. Azana recently revealed to SNL24 that, in contrast to the emotions that most musicians aim to arouse in their listeners, she is hoping that this particular project will make them get in their feelings and even tear up a little.
