While on tour in Durban, Sjava recently highlighted his mother and his followers were giddy over the charming performance video.
In Durban, Sjava gave a show for his admirers as part of the Isibuko Tour. He played songs from his most recent album, Isibuko, as well as some gold standard favorites. Sjava performed Grounding, a beautiful tune, to his mother, who was enjoying his serenade. The singer’s mom seemed to enjoy the performance as she sang along. Supporters on Twitter expressed how comforting it was to witness Sjava and his mother moving to his music. The fact that she was familiar with the song words made many people feel proud. This wouldn’t be the first time Sjava appeared with his mother on stage, nor would it be the last.
Sjava serenaded his admirers with songs from his new album at the Playhouse Theatre in Durban to mark the beginning of the Isibuko Tour. He collaborates with well-known musicians on the album, including Emtee, Q Twins, Shwi, and A-Reece, to mention a few. On July 12 and 13, the Ngiboniseni vocalist is scheduled to perform at Johannesburg Theatre.
