The Swedish singer-songwriter Snoh Aalegra has been confirmed as the festival’s headlining act for Rocking the Daisies, which takes place in Cape Town from October 3–6. An annual event in Cape Town called “Rocking the Daises” has local and international musicians entertaining music enthusiasts on stage. The Cloof Wine Estate will host the festival this year. The “I Want You Around” hitmaker’s admirers and friends urged the organizers to bring the musician to Johannesburg on social media, expressing their disappointment at not being able to attend the music festival in Cape Town. The resounding protests of Snoh’s supporters, who would be unable to participate in the nearby music festival, were not ignored.
In response to the fans’ concerns, Steyn Entertainment declared today that the R&B singer would make a one-night-only appearance at the In The City event on October 6 at Monte Casino, Fourways. Steyn Entertainment, an entertainment media firm based in Johannesburg, announced the announcement on social media. Fans returned to social media to share their enthusiasm for Snoh Aalegra’s In the City experience. The R&B artist is thrilled to visit Cape Town and Johannesburg, South Africa, for performances. Ayra Starr, a Nigerian singer and songwriter, will be the opening act.
