Marise Pollard, the wife of rugby ace Handre Pollard, had many South Africans ginning and showing support after sharing pictures of herself in the open field.
With hills as background Marise had taken the shot which clearly showed her in an excellent mood and lapping up the glories of nature. In the caption to her post, she merely stated, “home time.” It is unclear if the place is her home, but she undoubtedly looked happy to be there.
The image resonated with many South Africans,s and they camped in her comment section, with some of them describing Marise as their “makoti” – or local wife. You can check out the picture below.
This is but one of a couple of times when the fitness blogger and amateur athlete snagged attention. She was in France to support her husband and the South African rugby team during the World Cup and popped in the news multiple times as a result.
Clearly, she still knows how to snag the attention of the public and get everyone to talk about her – for good. By the way, she was born on March 3, 1996, to the family of Tanya (mother) and Gideon Malherbe (father) and grew up on the family’s farm in Eastern Cape.
