June 2024 might be gone but it remains a memorable year for many South Africans, especially fans of the country’s entertainment universe. For one, it was the month of birth of a couple of notable music figures, from Jub Jub to Makhadzi. Beyond that, their birthdays in that month also led to some intriguing revelations.
Take Jub Jub, for instance. While he is a famous rapper, it turns out that his age is not something many are familiar with. So his birthday this June turned out to be a season of surprises for some of his fans.
The songster turned 44 in June but many were surprised he’d already passed 40. To some of them, he didn’t look his age. For some reason, the songster didn’t post anything specific about his birthday, but that did not stop his fans from celebrating.
The songster has come a long way as a musician, from rapping to getting drunk and driving and killing students in his drunken driving haze, to spending time in jail and finally getting out, to running one of the most popular reality show in South Africa.
