The 17th Edition Of The Future Awards Africa Nominees Have Been Announced

The nominations for the 17th edition of the yearly awards have been announced by The Future Project, organizers of the Future Awards Africa (TFAA). Young Africans who have made extraordinary achievements in a variety of professions are recognized for their excellence and originality through this award.

The nominees list includes 25 categories that include a wide range of accomplishments, including those in the fields of acting, business, law, professional service, entrepreneurship, and agriculture.

Among the notable nominees are emerging Nollywood actors Emeka Nwagbaraocha (House of Secrets), Mike Afolarin, who plays the lead character in InkBlot’s Far From Home, and Genoveva Umeh, who plays his co-star. In addition to actress India Aisien, the announcement was made live on YouTube and Instagram by actor and former Big Brother Africa contestant Tayo Foniran.

Chude Jideonwo and Adebola Williams, journalists who launched The Future prizes Africa, called it “the most important awards for outstanding young Africans.” It recognizes exceptional young Africans between the ages of 18 and 31.

Beyond the awards, the TFAA is a movement that inspires greatness in young Africans and gives them the confidence to continue making contributions to the continent’s advancement. “Defying the Odds, Inspiring Greatness” is the theme of the upcoming award event.
