According to ALS paramedics’ report on Sunday morning, three suspects have been taken into custody following their alleged abduction of a car and subsequent crash while attempting to escape near Merebank, south of Durban. Once it collided with another car, the car caught fire.
A representative for ALS paramedics, Garrith Jamieson, stated that two patients who had minor injuries were receiving treatment on the spot. “SAPS is investigating the incident and is on scene.” In a different incident, on Himalayas Road in Merebank on Sunday morning, an allegedly hijacked car collided with another car and caught fire.
Garrith Jamieson, a spokesman for ALS Paramedics, stated that the South African Police services were there and looking into the event. ALS Paramedics are treating two patients who had minor injuries. Jamieson urges drivers to stay away from the area completely.
