Vuyo Ngcukana Bags Role On ‘My Brother’s Keeper’ Second Season

Vuyo Ngcukana, a former actor from 1802, has landed the role of Menzi in Mzansi Magic’s My Brother’s Keeper. According to entertainment pundit Jabu McDonald, Vuyo Ngcukana will appear in My Brother’s Keeper as Fakazile’s (Zola Nombona) attorney. Menzi is a recently widowed lawyer who meets Fakazile when she appoints him as her attorney, according to TVSA, Ngcukana’s character. According to reports, Menzi, the character he plays, is a cuddly teddy in his personal life but a bulldog on the court.

The actor is the most recent celebrity to join the cast after Muzi Mthabela of Generations: The Legacy. Ngcukana gained notoriety for playing Schumacher in the cancelled serial The Queen by Mzansi Magic. He acted with Phuti in Entangled as Sizwe Bam and starred in 1Magic’s 1802 as Dr. Zuko.

The second season of the telenovela My Brother’s Keeper, which stars Wiseman Mncube and Zola Nombona from Rhythm World Productions, has been revived. The telenovela attracted over 560,000 viewers, according to data released by the Broadcast Research Council of South Africa (BRCSA) in May. The Shabalala family patriarch, Mshengu, is portrayed by actor Lindani Nkosi, while actor Sdumo Mtshali plays Donga Shabalala. The story of a family caught up in a fatal succession conflict of their creation is told in the Rhythm World-produced program. It focuses on the age-old practice of ukunga when a widow lives with her brother or any other male relative. It also revolves around Nqubeko Shabalala, who isn’t in love with his circumstances and is portrayed by Wiseman Mncube.
