Yung Bleu Calls Out Boosie Badazz

Boosie Badazz and Yung Bleu were labelmates once. In 2020, the former signed with Bad Azz Music Syndicate, Boosie’s record label. In a statement, he even declared himself to be “Badazz for life.” This proved not to be accurate. Yung Bleu left the label in the same year and joined Empire Records. Boosie did not appreciate the flip. Since then, the two rappers have been at odds, with Boosie alleging that Yung Bleu has utilized the feud to further his record sales. On June 12, things came to a head.

Yung Bleu took to Instagram to vehemently refute Boosie Badazz’s assertions. He attacked Boosie and even implied he used the feud to stay in the public eye. “Boosie got my n*ts in his mouth every interview that n**ga obsessed,” the artist wrote. “I dropped a rap album with a one-week promo and no singles just to get out of my deal and did 17x more than you.” Yung Bleu continued his tirade with even more malice. He said he could no longer schedule shows how he used to and made fun of Boosie Badazz for being over the hill. “I am not debating with a n**ga; I am hardly booked for more than 100 miles out of Mississippi.”

Not direct enough? Yung Bleu had more, so don’t worry. He criticized the living circumstances of his former label boss, labelling him “lame.” “U better hope a storm doesn’t come and knock them cheap a*z paper thin a*z condos in your backyard down,” he tweeted. “N**ga got a motel six at his house; shut up.” According to Katt Williams, Yung Bleu is making sure fans don’t forget that this is the year of the hater. He attacked the rapper so viciously that online users began defending Boosie. One user commented, “[Boosie] put in so much work.” “You could never downplay his work ethic.” Another point is that Yung Bleu’s influence over Boosie is different. “Bleu,” they said. “We’re not going to choose you over Boosie,” lol. Ever.”

To Bleu’s credit, he tried to find a peaceful solution. At least, that’s what he stated when speaking with Sway in the morning in April. The rapper said he attempted to end his contract with Boosie Badazz while maintaining a positive relationship but felt that their arguments had reached a breaking point. “Now it’s just like, Nah,” he said to Sway. “I feel like that phase of my life is over. I moved forward from it.” Although Boosie hasn’t yet reacted to Bleu’s tirade on Instagram, we can assume that the rapper from Louisiana will have a lot to say.
