Many times, we have heard people talk about songs and albums that they believe changed their lives. This time, Zadok says a song by the late SA Hip Hop star AKA changed his life. We know that many rappers and artists have been inspired by AKA’s artistry and they’ve all been vocal about it.

According to a report by SAHipHopMag, producer and band member Zadok has joined the list of the artists who have been inspired by AKA’s music. The star took to X and revealed that the late rapper’s influential sound and style of music impacted him greatly.

According to him, the song “Congratulate,” which was featured on his second album “Levels,”  influenced him deeply. He wrote, “Congratulate changed my life man. That kinda of musicality on local mainstream record? Unheard of.”

Mzansi and fans of the late rapper a currently celebrating the tenth anniversary of the iconic album. SAHipHopMag reports that Vth Season and Sony collaborated on a documentary film telling the story of the album’s creation to the album’s legacy and AKA’s artistry. It will air on Channel O this Sunday, 30 June, at 5 PM CAT.
